Paper Drive has Ended!
After 40 years of collecting paper Scouting Pukekohe Paper Drive stops
The paper drive hosted by Scouting Pukekohe has come to an end.
This is due to a number of reasons, such as waning community support, transport costs, and the price of paper declining over recent years.
This was by no means an easy decision to make - as Paper Drive has a proud history in Pukekohe. Unfortunatey, the Paper Drive is no longer financially viable.
We would like to thank you, our parents, and past parents, for thier support in collecting the monthly paper, at times a huge task.
To Phil Allen who has lead Paper Drive, put thousands of hours into collecting paper, organising the containers to be collected, etc.
Finally to Powell's Transport, for allowing us to have the container parked at thier base free of charge, without this support we would have closed years ago.
Please, no dumping at the Scout and Guide Hall!
